Vinho Tinto, meaning "red wine" in Portuguese, is a rich part of Portugal's food and culture. Made from dark skinned grapes, it ranges from light and fruity to bold and smoky, with famous styles from the Douro Valley, Alentejo and Dao regions. Varieties such as Tourigo Nacional, Tinto Roritz and Castelao give Portuguese reds their distinctive character. Traditionally enjoyed with hearty dishes, Vinho Tinto is less about rushing and more about savouring good food conversation and the moment.

Vinho Verde is Portugal's famously fresh , lively wine, produced in the lush northwest region between the Douro and Minho rivers. Despite it's name-meaning "green wine"-it is not usually green; the term refers to it's youthful , vibrant character. Light bodied , crisp and often gently sparkling, it commonly shows flavours of green apple, citrus, pear and fresh herbs. Best served well chilled, Vinho Verde is an effortless match for seafood and salads and sunny afternoons.

Doc Alentejo is a Portuguese appellation from the warm Alentejo region. It's wines are typically ripe, fruit-forward and smooth: reds often feature dark fruit, spice and gentle tannins, while whites are fresh, aromatic and sometimes lightly creamy. Common grapes include Aragoneze, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, Antao Vaz and Arinto.
